Veneers
Veneers require less alteration of a tooth than a full crown, but may only be a solution for a tooth with slight damage or discoloration. These thin porcelain shells are customized in color and shape to give a natural and pleasing appearance. The veneer is bonded to the surface of the tooth much in the manner of a composite filling with the use of a special cement specifically made for their application.
Common uses for veneers:
Chipped or broken teeth
Misshapen or irregular teeth
Teeth that do not respond to traditional whitening treatment
